Udaipur, March 30 (Udaipur Kiran): In the widely discussed Udaipur Files case, police have filed a chargesheet in the ACJM-4 court in connection with the alleged video controversy linked to a BJP leader. The chargesheet submitted by Bhupalpura police highlights several key findings from the investigation.
According to the chargesheet, 12 folders were recovered from the accused’s mobile phone and a 32GB memory card, containing more than two dozen objectionable video clips. The case is backed by 80 documents and statements of 12 witnesses. A shopkeeper who allegedly sold a spy camera-fitted digital clock to the accused has been identified as a key witness.
The investigation states that the accused purchased the device in November 2025 and personally set the camera angle to record activities inside a private office. Police also found evidence from the accused’s internet search history, which showed prior searches related to spy cameras.
Importantly, the police have ruled out any possibility of AI-based tampering in the videos. The complainant had alleged that fake videos were created using artificial intelligence for blackmail. However, the investigation found no technical evidence supporting this claim. The videos were also not sent for forensic examination, indicating that investigators consider them to be genuine.
As per the recovered footage, the woman is seen with an unidentified individual in different situations. The camera framing was deliberately adjusted to capture clear visuals of activities inside the office. All video files were systematically stored in separate folders.
