Udaipur, March 30 (Udaipur Kiran): The effect of heat continues in the city, with temperatures remaining on the higher side. On Sunday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 34.7 degrees Celsius amid strong sunlight, while the night temperature rose to around 21.8 degrees Celsius.
Compared to the previous day, the daytime temperature dropped by 0.4 degrees, but the night temperature increased by 1.4 degrees, leading to a stronger feeling of heat.
According to weather expert Dr. R.S. Devda, continuous fluctuations in weather have been observed due to five active western disturbances during March. At present, the impact of these systems is expected in the north-western Himalayan regions, including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir, in the form of rainfall.
The impact in Rajasthan is likely to remain limited. A new western disturbance has become active and is expected to reach north-western India in the next four to five days. Due to its influence, parts of Mewar, including southern Rajasthan, may witness partly cloudy skies. However, the weather is expected to remain dry, with only slight fluctuations in temperature.
