Ranchi, May 11, 2025 – Jharkhand is currently experiencing unpredictable weather patterns with daytime temperatures crossing 40°C, while evening showers bring sudden relief. Residents across districts including the capital Ranchi are witnessing high heat during the day followed by thunderstorms or moderate rain late in the evening.

Rainfall and Temperature Update
In the last 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning was reported in several parts of the state. The highest rainfall was recorded in Netarhat (Latehar district).

Khunti registered the lowest minimum temperature at 21.9°C
Most areas saw humid conditions due to high heat during the day followed by rain-induced cooling at night.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), over 10 districts are likely to witness rainfall today, accompanied by thunderstorms, gusty winds up to 40 km/h, and lightning activity.
