Udaipur, August 19: The Shiva Katha being organised at Narayan Seva Sansthan’s Seva Mahatirtha has reached its peak with devotion and faith. Divyang persons, their family members and devotees are taking part in the programme being held in the presence of Sansthan president Prashant Agarwal.

Shiva’s Life Gives Message of Simplicity and Sacrifice
During the Katha, Prashant Agarwal narrated the story of Lord Shiva and Mata Sati on Mount Kailash. He said that Shiva’s life gives the message of simplicity, sacrifice and equality.
He said Mata Sati was pleased after seeing Lord Shiva’s simple life and yogi lifestyle on Mount Kailash. The presence of Lord Shiva itself removes feelings of enmity.
He said people should not ask God only for happiness, but also for the strength to face difficulties and learn from different situations. Happiness and sorrow are two sides of life, and their meaning can be understood through both.
Love and Compassion Make a Person Rich
Prashant Agarwal said that people have more facilities today, but peace of mind has reduced. Money and wealth are not the real measure of a person’s richness.
He said a person whose heart is filled with love, compassion and a feeling of belonging is truly rich. With love, life can remain happy even with limited resources, while without love, even many facilities cannot give peace to the mind.
Worship Should Bring Change in Life
While narrating the story of Mata Sati’s worship of Lord Shiva, he said she offered water and bel leaves to the Shivling every day with devotion.
He said this story gives the message of faith, dedication and trust. The real meaning of worship is not only in rituals, but also in bringing love, service and self-control into our behaviour.
Prashant Agarwal said Shiva Katha is not only meant to be heard, but also to inspire people to bring change in their lives. If people rise above ego, jealousy, hatred and criticism and adopt love and compassion, many disputes in families and society can end on their own. This is the message of Lord Shiva’s life.
Divyang persons and their family members took part in the Katha. Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the service activities and arrangements of Narayan Seva Sansthan.
