
Malda, August 09 (Udaipur Kiran) – Another rail accident occurred in the Malda district of West Bengal on Friday morning. Five wagons of a freight train derailed near Kumudpur. The accident happened when the freight train was traveling from New Jalpaiguri to Katihar. Due to this incident, rail traffic has been affected, and the routes of several trains have been altered.
The accident occurred around 10:30 AM between Khurial and Kumudpur stations. The incident has caused a stir in the area. Railway officials have immediately rushed to the scene, and relief work is underway.
