Tragic Road Accident Claims Life of Young Boy in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, September 7 (Udaipur Kiran) : A five-year-old boy tragically lost his life in Bengaluru’s Uttarahalli area on Monday when a tipper truck collided with the scooter he was riding on with his mother. The incident occurred near the Savanadarbar Ashram as they were on their way to school.

The deceased, identified as Bhavin, was riding with his mother, Shubhalata, who had just dropped off another child at school. According to police reports, the tipper truck struck their scooter, causing Bhavin to fall onto the road. The truck then ran over him, resulting in his immediate death.

After the accident, the driver of the tipper fled the scene. The Kengeri traffic police have registered a case and seized the vehicle. Efforts are underway to locate and apprehend the driver. Authorities are also investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, including the movements of the tipper truck prior to the accident.

In a separate series of road accidents in Karnataka’s Kolar and Chikkaballapur districts, seven people lost their lives, including four members of the same family returning to Bengaluru after visiting the Tirupati temple. In one incident, a car carrying four pilgrims overturned on the Chennai-Bengaluru Expressway, resulting in their deaths. The victims were identified as 70-year-old Sharadamma, 25-year-old Dikshita, 41-year-old Devendra Kumar, and 13-year-old Jishnu, all residents of Vidyaranyapura in Bengaluru.

In another accident, three women were killed when an Omni van carrying laborers collided with a mini goods vehicle in Chikkaballapur district. The laborers were being transported to work in flower fields when the crash occurred.
