Mumbai, October 8 (Udaipur Kiran): Actor Rishab Shetty’s much-anticipated film Kantara Chapter 1 is creating waves at the box office. Released on October 2, the film continues its strong run even after six days, drawing large crowds to theatres across the country.

According to a report by Sacnilk, Kantara Chapter 1 earned ₹33.5 crore on its sixth day. The film has maintained remarkable momentum since its release, performing impressively across multiple languages.
So far, the film has collected ₹89.35 crore in Kannada, ₹93.25 crore in Hindi, ₹4.75 crore in Telugu, ₹2.25 crore in Malayalam, and ₹2.5 crore in Tamil, taking its total box office collection to a massive ₹290.25 crore. With its current pace, the movie is expected to cross the ₹300 crore mark in the coming days, joining the elite club of top-grossing films.
Kantara Chapter 1 is a prequel to the 2022 blockbuster Kantara. Alongside Rishab Shetty, the film stars Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, and Jayaram in key roles.
Interestingly, on the very first day of its release, the makers also announced the third installment, titled Kantara Chapter 2. Fans are eagerly waiting for the next chapter of the franchise, while Kantara Chapter 1 continues to set new benchmarks with its stellar performance.
