Residents of Darbhanga city are expected to face planned power outages today, Friday, as maintenance and upgradation work on 11kV power lines is scheduled by the electricity department. The planned power cut will impact several urban localities for up to five hours during the day.
Power Cut Schedule and Affected Areas
As per officials, the reconductoring work on 11kV lines near Poor Home will require shutting down power supply from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Areas that will be affected during this period include:
Additionally, a separate power outage is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM under the Gangwara Power Substation, affecting areas connected to the 11kV Mithila Feeder. According to JE Deepak Abhishek, this cut is necessary to replace lines under the 33kV Bela Feeder.
