Aizawl, August 27: A great opportunity has emerged for those preparing for government jobs and waiting for vacancies. The Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) has issued an official notification inviting applications for several Group ‘B’ (non-gazetted) positions across various departments.
The vacancies announced by MPSC include six Junior Accounts Officer (JAO) positions in the Transport Department and two Warden positions in the Department of Social Welfare, Women, and Child Development.
The online application process for these posts commenced on August 20, with the final date for applications set for September 21. Candidates wishing to apply for these positions can complete their registration process on the official MPSC website by 4 PM on the deadline date.
Applicants for the Junior Accounts Officer (JAO) position must possess a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized institution or university, with a preference for commerce graduates. For the Warden position, a graduation degree in any subject is required.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is 35 years, calculated as of August 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a written examination, proficiency in the Mizo language, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary under the pay matrix level – 7 for the Junior Accounts Officer (JAO) position and level – 6 for the Warden position, along with additional benefits and allowances.
