Lucknow, August 23: The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 17 IAS officers in a late-night administrative reshuffle. Sangeeta Singh, who was serving as Aligarh Divisional Commissioner, has been appointed the new Commissioner of Moradabad.

According to the transfer list issued by the state government, several senior IAS officers have been given new responsibilities. Moradabad Commissioner Anjaneya, whose deputation ended on August 14, has been sent back to Sikkim.
Sangeeta Singh gets Moradabad charge
Sangeeta Singh has been shifted from Aligarh to Moradabad as Divisional Commissioner. Om Prakash Arya, who was a member of the Revenue Board in Prayagraj, has been appointed Aligarh Divisional Commissioner.
Gauri Shankar Priyadarshi, who was Commissioner of Rural Development and Secretary, has been made Director General of AYUSH and Mission Director of the National AYUSH Mission. Chaitra V has been appointed Revenue Board Member (Administrative).
Pramod Kumar Upadhyay, who was Secretary in the Social Welfare Department, has been made Commissioner of Rural Development, Uttar Pradesh.
Ravindra Kumar has been appointed Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (Urban). Masoom Ali Sarwar has been made Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (Urban) and State Mission Director.
Dr Raj Shekhar has been appointed Secretary, Planning Department, while Yogesh Kumar has been made Managing Director of Jal Nigam (Rural).
Kumar Prashant has been appointed Commissioner and Registrar, Cooperative Department. Gurrala Srinivasulu has been made Secretary, Uttar Pradesh State Information Commission.
Amrit Pal Kaur also gets posting
IAS officer Amrit Pal Kaur, who was waiting for posting, has now been appointed Joint Managing Director of the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Sugar Mills Federation Limited.
Devendra Kumar Pandey has been made Special Secretary, Consumer Affairs, Lucknow. Vivek Srivastava has been appointed Special Secretary, Animal Husbandry Department.
Amrit Tripathi has been made Judicial Member of the Revenue Board, Prayagraj, while Om Prakash Rai has been appointed Special Secretary, Higher Education Department.
Navneet Sehara, who was serving as Joint Managing Director of the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Sugar Mills Federation, has been relieved from the post and has not been given a new posting in the order.
Nine IPS officers transferred three days ago
The UP government had also transferred nine IPS officers, including the SPs of seven districts, on Thursday night.
The districts where SPs were changed included Meerut, Gonda, Jhansi, Bijnor, Sultanpur, Balrampur and Sambhal.
Gonda SP Vineet Jaiswal was made Sultanpur SP, while Sultanpur SP Charu Nigam was transferred to UP-112, Lucknow. Meerut SSP Avinash Pandey was attached to the DGP headquarters.
Jhansi SSP B.B.G.T.S. Murthy was appointed Meerut SSP, while Bijnor SP Abhishek was made Gonda SP. Balrampur SP Vikas Kumar was transferred as SSP Jhansi, while Sambhal SP Krishna Kumar was made Bijnor SP.
Vikas Chandra Tripathi, who was recently promoted as an IPS officer, was appointed Sambhal SP. Martand Prakash Singh was transferred from Hardoi to Balrampur.
