Mumbai, February 18, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) : The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released an official notification for recruitment to 650 Assistant posts across its offices nationwide. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official website rbi.org.in. The last date to submit applications is March 8, 2026.

Application Process and Key Dates
The online application process has commenced. Candidates must apply through the “Opportunities@RBI” section available on the official website. Applications will be accepted only in online mode.
Applicants are advised to complete their registration well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
Educational Qualification and Age Limit
Candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50 percent marks. For SC, ST and PwD candidates, passing marks are sufficient.
The age of applicants must be between 20 and 28 years. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will consist of three stages:

Preliminary Examination: Objective-type test covering English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning.

Main Examination: Candidates qualifying the preliminary exam will appear for the main examination, which will include sections such as Computer Knowledge and General Awareness.

Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Candidates clearing the main examination must qualify a local language test of the concerned state. This stage is qualifying in nature but mandatory.
Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary package along with allowances such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance and medical facilities. The position also offers long-term career growth opportunities within the central banking system.
