Mumbai, July 17: The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) has issued a warning to the public regarding fraudulent recruitment advertisements, deceptive job offers, and fake appointment letters circulating under its name.
In a public notice, MMRCL urged citizens to remain vigilant against these scams. The corporation reported that certain fraudsters are luring job seekers with false employment opportunities, using counterfeit documents, fake identities, and misleading messages that resemble the company’s official communications.
MMRCL clarified that all such recruitment proposals and related information are entirely fraudulent and unauthorized, having no connection with the corporation. The company emphasized that it does not authorize any private individuals, organizations, or third parties for its recruitment process and does not charge any fees or payments in the name of hiring.
The corporation appealed to job seekers to verify any recruitment-related information only through its official channels. MMRCL advised the public not to trust job offers received through unknown messages, emails, or websites.
Furthermore, the company warned against paying any registration fees, application fees, or money to individuals claiming to facilitate job placements without official confirmation. MMRCL stressed the importance of awareness and caution to avoid falling victim to such recruitment scams, urging the public to rely solely on official information released by the company.
