Udaipur : A man lost his life when he was suddenly attacked by a camel standing on the roadside which lifted him by neck and ran carrying him between its teeth. Villagers stoned the camel and drove it away, however, by the time the victim was taken to the hospital, he had died. The incident took place at Bhatadiya village in Kherawada tehsil when Laxman (32) so Vala Parmar was walking towards Badanpura.
A camel which was grazing on the roadside suddenly lifted Laxman as he passed through him. The victim was too shocked at the attack that by the time he could realize the situation, the camel started with his neck badly caught in between its teeth.Some people who saw the animal carrying the man, pelted stones and so the camel dropped Laxman and ran away. While the villagers were making arrangements to take him to the nearest hospital, Laxman died. The police later shifted the body to primary health centre at Chhanni village for postmortem. Laxman had four kids and was the only earning member of the family, sources said.
