Bhopal, May 24 – The weather in Madhya Pradesh continues to remain unstable as thunderstorms, strong winds, and light to moderate rainfall are expected to persist through the last week of May, including during the traditionally hottest period of the year, Nautapa. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a seven-day alert across the state, warning of continued weather disruptions.
On Saturday, alerts have been issued for 47 districts, including major cities like Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, and Ujjain. The weather department has cautioned residents about strong winds reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h, along with localized rainfall.

Weather Systems in Play
According to the IMD, the ongoing disturbances are due to an active cyclonic circulation and trough system over the region. These systems are likely to maintain their influence over the state for the next seven days, triggering frequent spells of rain and gusty winds.
