Udaipur . To ensure maximum public participation in the Lok Sabha General Election-2024, the Election Commission has proposed a special campaign for voter registration. Under this, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will be present at the respective polling stations on March 23 and 24, 2024 as part of a special campaign to receive applications from eligible people.
District Election Officer Arvind Poswal said that under the special campaign, BLOs, Supervisors and Booth Level Field Functionaries will be present at the polling station from 11 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday. During this time, the general public will be able to check their names in the voter list. At the same time, young voters who have completed the age of 18 years can register their names in the list through the Voter Helpline App or BLO. Voters will be informed about VHA, ECI-enabled, KYC, C-Vigil, 1950 etc. Along with this, training will also be given on how to see the name in the voter list from the Voter Helpline App.

District Election Officer Arvind Poswal appealed to the citizens of the district to participate in democracy. He said that all voters should check their names in the voter list through the Voter Helpline App or BLO, so that there is no confusion on the day of Voter’s Day. Youths who have completed the age of 18 years should also register their names during the special campaign so that they get the right to vote in the Lok Sabha elections. He said that the names added after March 24 will not be included in the voter list for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
