
Asus ROG Ally X was launched in India on Monday. The handheld gaming device was introduced globally at Computex 2024 in June and features, among other things, a 7-inch 120 Hz display and an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor. It’s the successor to the Asus ROG Ally (review), which launched last April and is said to come with significant improvements, the most notable of which is a larger battery.

Asus ROG Ally X price in India is Rs. 89,900 and will only be available in a black color from today. The handheld gaming console is available at Asus ROG Stores, Eshop, Flipkart, Amazon and also through offline channels.

The Asus ROG Ally X features the same specifications as its global counterpart. It features a 7-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 7ms response time. Asus says this screen has a maximum brightness of up to 500 nits and 100 percent sRGB coverage. The top is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for protection. To solve problems like screen tearing, this company has equipped its gaming device with AMD’s FreeSync Premium technology.
In terms of dimensions, the Asus ROG Ally Architecture with 8 cores and a maximum clock speed of 5.10 GHz. This processor is paired with an RDNA 3 GPU and 24GB of dual-channel LPDDR5X onboard RAM. As for storage, it comes with a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, expandable up to 4TB. This device has Windows 11.
For an enhanced gaming experience, Asus ROG Ally X features a dual speaker system with intelligent amplification technology and Dolby Atmos support. Additionally, the built-in array microphone is Hi-Res certified and equipped with artificial intelligence noise cancellation technology.
As for connectivity, the Asus Ally It also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 technology. The phone is powered by a 4-cell, 80-watt-hour lithium-ion battery, which has twice the capacity of its predecessor. This gaming device supports 65W charging via USB Type-C.
