Asus ROG Ally X Price, Key Features Tipped Ahead of June 2 Launch

Asus has confirmed that the ROG Ally X will be released on June 2nd. The upcoming handheld gaming console is a major step up from its predecessor, the Asus ROG Ally. It was introduced last year. The new phone will have a significantly larger battery. Key specifications of the Asus ROG Ally X have now surfaced online, including the display, processor and memory. They also hinted at the price of the alleged gaming console.

X user Arsene Lupin (@MysteryLupin) has shared some details about the upcoming Asus ROG Ally X. The game console will be available in black color and is expected to cost $799 (roughly Rs. 66,700). It is said to feature a 7-inch Full HD 1080p display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The console can be powered by the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chipset paired with a 1TB SSD.

According to a recent report, the Asus ROG Ally X will have more than 16GB of RAM. The upcoming console is expected to have a significantly larger battery, which will offer up to three hours of operating time. The Asus ROG Ally has a 40Wh battery with 65W charging support. We will probably learn more about the future console closer to the release.

The first-gen Asus ROG Ally comes with an AMD Z1 Extreme chipset and was launched in India in July 2023 at a price of Rs 69,990. Available in white. The console has a 7-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and Gorilla Glass DX protection, with a peak brightness of up to 500 nits.

It comes with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of NVMe storage. The phone comes with Windows 11 operating system and supports Wi-Fi 6E, USB Type-C and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. The Asus ROG Ally also includes an AI-enabled microphone and Dolby Atmos-enabled stereo speakers. It weighs 680 grams and measures 280 x 111 x 21.2 mm.
