Ayodhya, September 14 (Udaipur Kiran) : In Ayodhya, on September 14, Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Avadhesh Prasad strongly criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for not inviting Chief Ministers from opposition-ruled states to the recent BRICS meeting. He described this exclusion as an indication of the BJP’s “anti-democratic mindset,” asserting that such actions weaken the foundations of democracy.
Speaking to a news agency, Prasad pointed out that states governed by parties other than the BJP were left out of the BRICS program. He emphasized the importance of respecting all states and political parties within a democratic framework, raising concerns about the central government’s intentions regarding the absence of opposition leaders.
Prasad also commented on the ongoing controversy surrounding donations to the Ram Temple Trust. He referenced a statement made by the trust’s treasurer, highlighting the significance of the role, given that it involves handling substantial donations, including cash, gold, silver, and land. He expressed concern over the treasurer’s claim of not signing any documents or visiting relevant locations, describing this as a serious and irresponsible situation. Additionally, he questioned the promotion processes within the trust.

He suggested that including development plans based on the local needs of each district in Uttar Pradesh’s forthcoming electoral manifesto would be a significant step toward the state’s overall development, stressing that comprehensive growth is only possible when plans are tailored to the unique requirements of each district.
