Kathmandu, March 8 – A 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck the Nepal-Tibet border on Saturday afternoon, shaking parts of Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu, and several districts near the China border.
According to the National Seismological Center of Nepal, the earthquake occurred at 2:35 PM local time. The epicenter was located in Shigatse, Tibet, as confirmed by seismologist Bharat Koirala.
