Jaipur, September 4 (Kiran News): The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Kota team on Thursday arrested Saty Narayan Navaria, Deputy Director and Woman & Child Development Officer, Jhalawar, and Additional Administrative Officer Hariom Rawat while accepting a bribe of ₹10,000.

According to ACB Additional Director General Smita Srivastava, the complainant alleged that his private vehicle was contracted with the office of the Assistant Director, Women Empowerment Department, Jhalawar, between January and May 2025. For approving the related payment bills, both officers allegedly demanded a bribe of ₹10,000.
The complaint also stated that the officers threatened to initiate recovery proceedings and blacklist the complainant’s vehicle from future departmental contracts if the bribe was not paid.
Following the complaint, the ACB laid a trap under the supervision of Additional SP Vijay Swarnkar, during which both officers were caught red-handed while accepting the bribe.
The ACB has confirmed that further investigation in the case is underway.
