Over 1,850 Shareholders and Annual Turnover of More Than Rs 27.27 Lakh
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Javar Mata Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited, a Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO), was organised under the Samadhan Project, supported by Hindustan Zinc Limited and BAIF Livelihoods.
During the meeting, Hindustan Zinc Limited’s IBU CEO, Javar Mines, Anshul Khandelwal, stressed the need to increase the use of modern technology and agricultural equipment to help farmers increase their income. He said that technology and modern equipment can improve productivity and efficiency in farming.

He also suggested increasing farmers’ participation in the FPO and working towards doubling the patron bonus next year.
Hindustan Zinc’s HR Head Saurav Mishra stressed the need for better and more effective use of available resources. He also encouraged farmers to adopt organic and natural farming practices.
NABARD representative Neeraj Yadav provided information about the government’s Pradhan Mantri MYSY scheme and encouraged farmers to join the scheme and make use of its benefits.
CSR Head Vivek Kumar Singh shared information about various CSR activities and projects being implemented in the area.
Rajeevika District Programme Officer Motilal Meena, Nevatalai administrator Kishan Meena, Chanavda administrator Chunnilal Meena, BAIF Livelihoods State Head Pawan Patidar and members of the Samadhan Project team were also present.
Around 300 farmers participated in the programme.
FPO Records Turnover of More Than Rs 27.27 Lakh
Javar Mata Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited has a strong base of more than 1,865 shareholders. During the financial year 2025-26, the company recorded an annual turnover of more than Rs 27.27 lakh.
During the AGM, the FPO president shared information about the organisation’s vision, mission and major achievements. The business plan for financial year 2026-27 was also discussed, along with the election of the Board of Directors, bonus share distribution and other important matters.
Share certificates were distributed to shareholders during the programme. Farmers who recorded the highest business through the Agriculture Service Centre were also honoured.
Supporting Farmers Through the FPO Model
Under the Samadhan Project, continuous efforts are being made to establish and strengthen Farmer Producer Organisations and improve the economic condition of farmers.
FPOs support farmers in purchasing agricultural inputs, production, harvesting, grading, storage and marketing of agricultural produce. The main aim of the programme is to strengthen community-based organisations and connect farmers with market-based services to help increase their income.
During the meeting, special discussions were held on collective growth of farmers, institutional strengthening and the role of the FPO model in strengthening the rural economy.
The guests said that FPOs can help farmers increase their income, reduce farming costs and get better access to markets. Farmers also actively participated in the meeting and shared their suggestions for the future development of the organisation.
Samadhan Project Working Across Six Districts
Samadhan is an integrated and sustainable livelihood development initiative being implemented since 2026 in six districts of southern Rajasthan.
The project works to increase farmers’ income and strengthen livelihoods through agriculture, livestock activities and Farmer Producer Organisations.
Through the FPOs, farmers are receiving support not only in managing agricultural costs but also in getting regular information about market prices, collective marketing opportunities and better prices for their produce.
The initiative aims to make farmers more self-reliant, promote sustainable agriculture and strengthen rural livelihoods. The joint efforts of Hindustan Zinc and BAIF Livelihoods through the Samadhan Project are helping create better livelihood opportunities and a stronger future for farmers in the region.
