New Delhi, May 1: A tragic incident occurred at Bargi Dam in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, on April 30, where a cruise capsized due to strong winds, leading to several passengers falling into the water. Following the report of the accident, army divers took charge of the rescue operations at the site. So far, five bodies have been recovered, while the search for other missing individuals continues. Local administration, police, disaster management teams, and other agencies are collaborating in the rescue efforts.
The incident took place near Khamria Island, where passengers were enjoying the natural beauty when the weather suddenly deteriorated. Strong gusts of wind disrupted the balance of the cruise, resulting in the unfortunate accident. Panic ensued as the cruise overturned, throwing the passengers into the water.
