Jaipur, March 12, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): The Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajasthan Police has arrested another accused in connection with a fraud case involving cryptocurrency, social media investment schemes, and false promises of providing a Scorpio vehicle for ₹6 lakh.

Additional Director General of Police, SOG Rajasthan, Vishal Bansal said that the accused, Suresh Saini (34), son of Gulabram and a resident of Birani village under Bhopalgarh police station in Jodhpur district, has been arrested in connection with case number 45/2025 registered on September 20, 2025. The case is registered under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Act, 2019 at SOG Police Station, Jaipur.
According to officials, the SOG received information during social media monitoring that attractive investment schemes were being promoted in the Jodhpur region to collect money from people by promising unusually high and unrealistic returns. Acting on the information, the SOG registered a case and began a detailed investigation.
The investigation was carried out under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General of Police Paris Deshmukh and led by Investigating Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police Rohit Srivastava, whose team uncovered the roles of several accused involved in the fraud.
Officials said the main accused, Banshilal alias Prince Saini, in collusion with software developer Rajnish Kumar, created a website named harvestusdt.com. Through this platform, an ID was offered for ₹250 and around 82,000 people were connected to the scheme, from whom about ₹2 crore was initially collected.
Later, the accused established a company named Harvest AI Technology Private Limited, appointing himself as director and his fiancée Mamta Saini as co-director. The company promoted a digital currency named HVT Crypto Coin on social media platforms, falsely claiming it would be listed on cryptocurrency exchanges.
To attract investors, several promotional schemes were announced, including offers of Scorpio vehicles for ₹5.90 lakh and Fortuner vehicles for ₹12 lakh, widely advertised on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
According to SOG, through these schemes the accused encouraged people to invest in digital currency and collected ₹2,20,89,600 through about 336 transactions via the Razorpay payment gateway, ₹51.34 lakh in a DCB Bank account, and about ₹20.21 lakh in a Bank of India account, taking the total online collection to approximately ₹4.92 crore. Additionally, around 40 individuals were persuaded to invest through written agreements with the company.
Investigators also found that on October 15, 2025, the accused organised a programme titled “Double Century Reward Ceremony” in Bhopalgarh, where they announced distribution of 250 Scorpio vehicles. During this event, 251 people were allegedly cheated of around ₹15 crore.
The SOG said the money collected through the schemes was used by the accused for personal luxury, donations to social and religious organisations, and the purchase of expensive vehicles.
Earlier in the case, the main accused Banshilal alias Prince Saini, Mamta Bhati, and Dinesh Bagdi had already been arrested, and a charge sheet was filed in court on December 18, 2025.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the newly arrested accused Suresh Saini played an active role in the fraud by luring people in rural areas with the promise of arranging a Scorpio vehicle for ₹6 lakh. He allegedly collected around ₹3.5 crore from 56 individuals through this scheme.
He also facilitated 1,173 IDs in the company Harvest AI Technology Private Limited, depositing approximately ₹28 lakh from investors through social media apps and cryptocurrency investment schemes.
Officials said Suresh Saini operates a JCB repair workshop in the Bhopalgarh area, and due to his strong local influence he was able to easily convince villagers to invest in the fraudulent schemes. As commission for his role, he had received a Scorpio vehicle in his brother’s name from the main accused, which has now been seized by the SOG.
The arrested accused was produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jaipur Metropolitan-II, and has been taken into police custody until March 12, 2026. Investigation is ongoing to determine the total number of investors, the amount invested, and the bank accounts, wallets, and financial transactions associated with the case.
The SOG has appealed to the public to verify the authenticity and legal status of any high-return investment schemes, cryptocurrency offers, online trading platforms, or social media-based investment proposals before investing money. Citizens have also been advised to report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station or the SOG.
