Dehradun, September 7 (Udaipur Kiran) : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is set to launch the ‘Chief Minister Youth Future Construction Scheme’ dedicated to the youth of Uttarakhand on Monday. The initiative aims to provide opportunities for young people to realize their dreams and achieve success.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, Dhami stated, “Talent should not be dependent on resources. With this thought, I will inaugurate the ‘Chief Minister Youth Future Construction Scheme’ today.”
He emphasized that young people from remote and mountainous areas will no longer need to travel to big cities for better preparation for competitive exams. The scheme will offer free online coaching and quality study materials for exams like UPSC, PCS, CDS, SSC, banking, railway, CAT, GATE, and NET, all accessible from home.
“Our goal is to ensure that no youth in Uttarakhand has to compromise on their dreams just because they live in a remote area or cannot afford expensive coaching,” Dhami added.
Earlier, on Sunday, the state government provided scholarships to 17,852 meritorious students under the ‘Chief Minister Meritorious Student Incentive Scholarship Scheme’. Students from classes 6 to 12 benefited from this initiative, receiving monthly scholarships ranging from ₹600 to ₹1,200.
Dhami noted that this initiative aims to motivate students to perform better and enhance their interest in education. He reiterated the government’s commitment to fostering a competitive spirit among talented students and supporting their growth.
