Udaipur, August 1: The Faculty of Management at Pacific University launched an induction programme aimed at the overall development of newly admitted MBA students. The objective of the programme is to help new students adjust to the new environment, feel comfortable, understand the ethos and culture of the institution, actively engage in various fields, and prepare themselves at a global level.

Shraddha Gattani Highlights Keys to Success
The inaugural session featured Mrs. Shraddha Gattani, Managing Director of Oriental Resort, as the chief guest. She highlighted the importance of business studies and outlined the path to becoming a good entrepreneur or manager. Sharing practical knowledge of business management, she encouraged students by discussing topics such as self-discipline, time management, and crisis management.
Insights on Management Education and Personal Growth
Dean of the Faculty of Management, Prof. Dipin Mathur, addressed the students at the beginning of the session. He emphasised the importance of recognising life goals and valuing time to shape a better life story. He encouraged students to engage in self-analysis, develop new skills, and prepare themselves for the MBA programme, which would help them achieve desired employment.
Prof. Mathur also guided students on how to identify their strengths and weaknesses, improve their personality, and understand the fundamentals of management. He explained how MBA differs from traditional courses and shared how case studies, role-plays, and discussions on economic scenarios are part of the teaching methodology, providing students with practical insights.
Seven-Day Induction Programme to Cover Various Management Dimensions
The seven-day induction programme includes sessions on various aspects of management, such as team building, leadership skills, employability skills, campus-to-corporate transition, management quizzes, corporate interactions, alumni talks, mentor-mentee programmes, management games, and industry visits. All these sessions are designed for the overall development of the students.
Renowned Speakers and Warm Welcome from the Faculty
The sessions will be conducted by renowned speakers who are experts and motivational trainers from education and corporate sectors. Programme coordinators Dr. Pallavi Mehta and Dr. Jaya Sharma introduced students to the new environment and welcomed them into the Faculty of Management family.
The inaugural session was attended by faculty members from various departments, including Dr. Pushpakant Shakdweepi, Dr. Narendra Chawda, Dr. Ashish Adyolia, Dr. Khushboo Agrawal, Dr. Ali Yawar Reha, Dr. Gaurav Kumar Joshi, and Ayushi Mali.
