First, let’s say that the Galaxy Quantum 5 was co-developed with SK Telecom and is network-only. Therefore, it is not available outside Korea. Another partnership that made this phone possible is ID Quantique (IDQ). It is a company that offers quantum cryptography chips.
Samsung Galaxy Quantum 5
This chip is a quantum random number generator (QRNG). It uses quantum physics to generate true random numbers that are used in encrypting and decrypting sensitive data such as biometrics and passwords. Using true random numbers from an independent chip limits the possibility of external influences and manipulation of traditional random number generation methods.
Aside from the additional QRNG chip, the Galaxy Quantum 5 is essentially a Galaxy A55. The outstanding features of this product include an aluminum frame with IP67 standard and a glass body on the front and back, a 6.6-inch 120 Hz Super AMOLED screen, stereo speakers, a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12- Megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera on the back An Exynos 1480 runs with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. A 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging keeps the lights on.
The Samsung Galaxy Quantum 5 is available in three colors: Cool Ice Blue, Cool Lilac and Cool Navy. The retail price is 618,200 won ($465).
