After several high-profile leaks, including today, the Redmi 14C is now official. The budget-friendly device features an all-new design, a large 6.88-inch 120Hz display and a new Helio G81 Ultra chipset.

The new phone was first launched with MediaTek’s new Helio G81 Ultra SoC. Same processor configuration as Cortex-A75 with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU clocked at 2.0GHz and G80 with Cortex A55. The Redmi 14C is available with 4/6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card slot.
On the back is a 50MP primary camera and an unspecified secondary lens. The other two cutouts are for the LED flash and sticker. Xiaomi added a slightly larger 5160mAh battery with 18W charging and kept the side-mounted fingerprint reader and headphone jack.

The Redmi 14C is available in Midnight Black, Sage Green, Dream Purple and Star Blue. The device is already available from Czech retailers, but Xiaomi has not announced an official price. Prices there start at SEK 2,999 ($120/$130) for the 4/128GB variant and rise to SEK 3,699 ($148/$163) for the 8/256GB model.
