Udaipur, September 10: The Faculty of Science and Technology at Pacific University organised the “Step Into AI – Explore, Learn, Create” programme on September 10 to familiarise students with modern Artificial Intelligence technologies and their practical applications.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Hemant Kothari said Artificial Intelligence is rapidly bringing changes in education, industry, research and employment. He said students should develop AI-based knowledge and skills to keep pace with the changing technological world. Such programmes play an important role in promoting innovation, creativity and awareness about future opportunities among students.
Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology Prof Dilendra Hiran said AI should not be viewed only as a technology but also as an effective tool for finding new solutions to problems and developing creative thinking. He said students should understand the real-life applications of AI and strengthen their academic and professional skills.
The special session was conducted by Dr Shilpa Singh, who explained the basic concepts of AI, its applications in real life and its future prospects to the students.
The programme was coordinated by Riya Jain. Students participated enthusiastically and were inspired to learn, experiment and develop new ideas in the field of AI.
