Udaipur: Pacific Institute of Physiotherapy, Pacific University, organised a grand programme on the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day, featuring the Mr Fresher and Ms Fresher competitions along with various other activities.
Coordinator Dr Shubham Menaria said the objective of the programme was to create awareness among students about physiotherapy while providing newly admitted students a platform to showcase their talent and personality.
The chief guests were Prof Kapilesh Tiwari, Dean, Physical Education Department, Pacific University, and Udaipur-based neurologist Dr Tarun Mathur. Dr Sonali Mathur was present as the special guest. Dr Nidhi, Dr Rohit Mathur, Heena Lohar, Dr Hussain and Dr Deepika, along with other faculty members and staff of Pacific University, were also present.
On the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day, students presented various performances and activities related to physiotherapy, health and physical activity. In the Mr Fresher and Ms Fresher competition, students enthusiastically participated in different rounds, including ramp walk, introduction, quiz and talent presentation.
Mahmood was selected as Mr Fresher, while Jyoti was selected as Ms Fresher. Both winners were congratulated and wished a bright future.
Students participated in the programme with enthusiasm and excitement. The faculty members and staff of Pacific University made an important contribution to the success of the event.
