For years, Android users have had to wait for the Play Store to finish installing or updating an app/game on their device because only one app/game can be installed or updated at a time. However, starting in April, Google allowed its users to install two apps at the same time and is now allowing users to install or update three apps or games at the same time via the Play Store.
If there are three or more pending updates and you click Update All, the Play Store will start downloading and installing three app or game updates at once and the status of the remaining updates will show as Pending.

Google allows users to update or install up to three apps at a time. This is commendable as it saves time by reducing waiting time. Google has yet to make an official statement on the matter, but the internet search giant has begun rolling out this feature widely. Available in India but not on all devices. This means it’s a server change and there’s no guarantee you can install/update three apps at once just because your device has the latest version of the Play Store.
