Lucknow, September 11 (Udaipur Kiran) : As the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections approach, BJP MP Jagdambika Pal has announced a month-long “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” starting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, September 17. The campaign, running until October 17, aims to showcase the government’s initiatives and achievements across villages in the country.
Pal emphasized Modi’s dedication to public service over the past 25 years, highlighting India’s rise to the fourth-largest economy with a growth rate of 7.8%. The campaign will not only celebrate the Prime Minister’s birthday but also focus on serving those in need. On September 17, blood donation camps will be held, followed by cleanliness drives, and efforts to inform villagers about government schemes. Events promoting Khadi will take place on October 2, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of Modi’s public life.
The campaign aims to reach marginalized communities, including Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, and women from self-help groups. Pal stated that the initiative would extend beyond urban centers to ensure that rural populations benefit from government programs.
Regarding the upcoming BRICS summit, Pal remarked that it represents more than just an international meeting. He mentioned current global challenges such as the crisis in West Asia and trade tariffs from Western nations, suggesting that BRICS could pave the way for a new global order. The presence of leaders like China’s Xi Jinping and Russia’s Vladimir Putin, alongside Modi, is expected to draw global attention.
On the recent expulsion of Akash Anand from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Pal described it as an internal matter for the party, while also cautioning that the BSP leadership should be wary of losing its own influence.
In response to accusations from Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav regarding reservation issues, Pal countered that the public is now aware of the attempts to mislead them during the Lok Sabha elections. He pointed out the central government‘s efforts to uplift backward classes and Dalits, asserting that the BJP’s initiatives would diminish the impact of opposition claims.
Pal also noted that the BJP is actively preparing for the elections, with senior leaders visiting districts to assess the party’s work. Following the visit of BJP in-charge Vinod Tawde, senior official B.L. Santosh is also scheduled to visit Uttar Pradesh, with the possibility of national president Nitin Naveen’s visit soon.
