Udaipur, January 27, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at Sai Tirupati University, located at Umarda, Udaipur. The programme began with a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Dilip Kumar Parik, followed by the hoisting of the national flag. The Tricolour was saluted with the national anthem, and a grand march-past was presented by NSS volunteer students, reflecting discipline and national pride.

Chairperson Ashish Agrawal, CEO Sheetal Agrawal, Managing Director Naman Agrawal, and Prateek Agrawal extended greetings and best wishes to all on the occasion.
Vice-Chancellor and President Prashant Nahar shared his views on the importance of Republic Day and the Constitution. Emphasising the relevance of the national song Vande Mataram in building a developed and self-reliant India, he encouraged students to contribute actively to nation-building through patriotism. He also highlighted the achievements of the university and congratulated the management, faculty, staff, and students.
Registrar Devendra Jain offered blessings to the honoured students and wished them success in their future endeavours.
The event was attended by Principal of Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences Suresh Goyal, Medical Superintendent Sarita Kant, former Vice-Chancellor Chandra Mathur, Dean Research Bharat Parashar, senior advisor A L Sehlot, along with principals, faculty members, staff, and students from all constituent colleges.
During the programme, Narendra Goyal shared information about a special agreement aimed at promoting medical tourism at the newly constructed PIMS City Multi-Speciality Hospital.
In accordance with the directions of the Higher Education Department, Government of Rajasthan, a collective rendition of Vande Mataram was performed to mark 150 years of the national song. Patriotic cultural performances by students of constituent colleges were the main attraction of the celebration.
Certificates of appreciation were awarded to NSS volunteers, sports staff, students with outstanding academic performance, and participants of cultural programmes. The vote of thanks was delivered by Shrinidhi, while the programme was conducted by Tasneem Haider. Members of the cultural committee, including Ajay Chaudhary, Vaibhav Chittoda, Maheshwari Patel, and Mohammad Yasir Khan, also contributed to the successful organisation of the programme.
