Alwar, March 9 (Udaipur Kiran): A tragic road accident on an expressway in Rajasthan’s Raini police station area claimed the life of Shakun Group Managing Director Vallabh Maheshwari (62) on Sunday after his car lost control and crashed into a divider.
According to police, the accident occurred around 4 pm near chainage 136.8 on the expressway. Maheshwari was travelling from Jaipur to Delhi when the vehicle reportedly went out of control, broke through barricades, and entered the median before colliding with the wall of a culvert.
Following the accident, Maheshwari and his driver were rescued in an injured condition and taken to Pinan Adarsh CHC for treatment. After receiving primary medical care, both were referred to Alwar due to the seriousness of their injuries.
Maheshwari was later admitted to a private hospital in Alwar, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The driver, who was also injured in the crash, is currently undergoing treatment.
Police said the front engine section of the car was severely damaged, which resulted in critical injuries to Maheshwari. Passersby and police personnel helped pull the injured victims out of the vehicle and rushed them to the hospital, but doctors could not save Maheshwari.
