Udaipur, February 16, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) – The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released an official notification for recruitment to the post of Assistant in its offices across the country. A total of 650 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive.

Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official website, rbi.org.in. The last date to submit the application form is March 8, 2026.
Application Process and Important Dates
The online application process has already begun. Candidates are advised to complete their registration well before the deadline. Applications will be accepted only in online mode through the ‘Opportunities@RBI’ section available on the official portal.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the post must hold a graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent marks from a recognised university. For candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories, only passing marks are required.
The age limit is 20 to 28 years. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories such as OBC, SC, ST and others as per government norms.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of three stages:
Preliminary Examination: Objective-type test covering English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning.
Main Examination: Candidates qualifying the preliminary stage will appear for the main exam, which will also include Computer Knowledge and General Awareness.
Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Candidates who clear the main examination must qualify a test in the local language of the concerned state. This stage is qualifying in nature but mandatory.

Application Fee
The application fee for General, OBC and EWS candidates is ₹450 plus 18 per cent GST. For SC, ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates, the intimation charge is ₹50 plus 18 per cent GST. Payment can be made online through net banking, credit card or debit card.
