Mumbai, September 9 (Udaipur Kiran) : The makers of ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’, starring Ajay Devgn, have unveiled the film’s trailer, heightening anticipation among fans. In this latest installment, Vijay Salgaonkar faces a formidable new adversary. Alongside Devgn, the film features Tabu reprising her role as IG Meera Deshmukh and Shriya Saran as Nandini. Notably, actors Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj join the cast, intensifying the investigation against Vijay.
In the 2-minute and 52-second trailer, Vijay Salgaonkar, played by Devgn, is once again seen striving to protect his family’s secrets from the law. The stakes are raised as the conflict evolves from a mere mental game into a life-and-death struggle between Vijay and the police.
Devgn’s character asserts that he possesses substantial evidence, while Ahlawat portrays an SP from the crime branch who recognizes Vijay’s intelligence and cunning. This new dynamic presents Vijay with even more perilous challenges.
During the trailer launch event, Ajay Devgn shared his surprise at the film’s continuation after ‘Drishyam 2’. He expressed, “After ‘Drishyam 2’, we didn’t know if a third part would be made, as it was not easy to carry the story forward with numerous twists and turns.”
He praised director Abhishek Pathak for his creative vision, noting that the script took approximately two and a half years to develop. Devgn emphasized that the quality of the writing was commendable.
The actor believes ‘Drishyam 3’ serves as the conclusion to this narrative. He remarked, “We felt that this script should be the end of the story, as everything should reach a conclusion. The way it has been written and the new direction it has taken is remarkable.”
In closing, Devgn expressed hope that Mohanlal and the original team would watch the film, stating that their approval would bring him great joy.
