Udaipur, September 9, 2026: To manage increased passenger demand, the North Western Railway has temporarily increased the number of coaches in three trains. Chief Public Relations Officer Amit Sudarshan said additional coaches are being attached to these trains from different dates on various routes.

Jaipur-Udaipur City Train Gets Additional Coach
Train No. 20993/20994, Jaipur-Udaipur City, will have additional coaches from Jaipur from September 10 to September 30.
The same train will have one additional Second Class General coach from Udaipur City from September 11 to October 1. The temporary arrangement is expected to provide relief to regular passengers travelling on the route.
Udaipur City-Asarva Train
Train No. 20987/20988, Udaipur City-Asarva, will also have an additional coach.
One additional coach will be attached from Udaipur City from September 10 to September 30. From Asarva, one additional Second Class General coach will be attached from September 11 to October 1.
The arrangement will make travel more convenient for passengers commuting between Udaipur and Asarva.
Two Sleeper Coaches Added to Ajmer-Bandra Terminus Train
Changes have also been made to train No. 20995/20996, Ajmer-Bandra Terminus.
The number of coaches will be increased from Ajmer from September 12 to September 26. From Asarva, two additional Second Class Sleeper coaches will be temporarily attached from September 13 to September 27.
