Jaipur, February 3 – Rajasthan is set to witness another shift in weather as a western disturbance influences parts of the state. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted cloudy skies and light rainfall in several districts, including Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Udaipur, and Bikaner divisions. This weather shift is expected to persist until February 4, with cold northwesterly winds intensifying from February 5, leading to a drop in temperature across the region.

Temperature Drop Recorded Across the State
The last 24 hours have already shown a decline in daytime temperatures. According to the Jaipur Meteorological Center, the latest temperature records across major cities are as follows:
- Jaipur: Maximum 25°C, Minimum 15.7°C
- Ajmer: Maximum 24.9°C, Minimum 13.8°C
- Alwar: Maximum 21.5°C, Minimum 10.2°C
- Udaipur: Maximum 24.6°C, Minimum 8.2°C
- Kota: Maximum 25.3°C, Minimum 13.1°C
- Chittorgarh: Maximum 27.8°C, Minimum 8.8°C
- Barmer: Maximum 27.6°C, Minimum 13.8°C
- Jaisalmer: Maximum 24.8°C, Minimum 11.2°C
- Jodhpur: Maximum 26.2°C, Minimum 13.8°C
- Bikaner: Maximum 24.3°C, Minimum 10.2°C

The active western disturbance is expected to cause cloud formation and light showers across several districts. Following this brief rainfall spell, cold winds from the northwest will intensify winter conditions, causing a dip in both maximum and minimum temperatures across Rajasthan.
