
The Poco Pad was released worldwide in May this year. The company is now gearing up to launch the tablet in the Indian market. A banner on the e-commerce website hinted at an upcoming release, but Poco has yet to confirm the schedule. The Indian version is expected to be similar to the global model and will feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, a 10,000mAh battery, a 12.1-inch 120Hz 2.5K display, four speakers with Dolby Audio and Dolby Vision support .
Introducing Poco Pad India
The Poco Pad has been announced to launch in India soon. A promotional banner has surfaced on Flipkart confirming the possible availability of the tablet on Flipkart. While the poster doesn’t confirm the moniker, the image is similar to the Poco Pad’s marketing images.
Poco India President Himanshu Tandon and the company’s Head of Brand Marketing Varun Nair have confirmed that Poco will soon launch new Poco Buds, tablets and power banks in the country. In a recent interview with Digit, Tandon hinted that the Poco Pad could launch in India in August. So expect more teasers and confirmed details in the coming days.
Poco Pad features, price
The Poco Pad has been released globally with a 12.1-inch 120Hz 2.5K (2560 x 1600 pixels) LCD display, certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Power is provided by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 28GB paired processor, LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage. The tablet comes with HyperOS based on Android 14.
As for the cameras, the Poco Pad comes with 8-megapixel cameras on the front and back. The tablet has four speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a 10,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast wired charging. Connectivity options available on the tablet include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and a USB Type-C port. It measures 280 x 181.85 x 7.52 mm and weighs 571 grams.
