Ghaziabad, September 12 (Udaipur Kiran) : A devastating incident unfolded in Ghaziabad’s Bhawapur area on Saturday night when a fire broke out due to an LPG cylinder explosion in a residential building. The chaos prompted immediate action from the local fire department, as reports indicated that several people were trapped inside the house.
The fire department received the alert around 8:29 PM on September 12, 2026, and dispatched a team from the Vaishali fire station to the scene. Firefighters faced significant challenges due to the narrow alley leading to the house, which made it impossible for fire trucks to reach directly. Undeterred, they proceeded on foot, using available resources and basic firefighting equipment to combat the flames.
The blaze originated in a rented room belonging to a tenant named Guddu, where household items were also engulfed in the fire. Firefighters managed to control the flames quickly, preventing them from spreading to neighboring homes.
Tragically, both Guddu and his young daughter, Aanchal, suffered severe burns in the incident. They were rushed to Yashoda Hospital in Kaushambi for treatment. Despite the efforts of medical staff, Aanchal succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival, leaving the family in mourning.
In the aftermath, fire department officials visited the hospital to check on Aanchal’s condition but were met with the heartBreaking News of her passing.
