Although the official launch date of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE has not been announced yet, leaks about the device continue to surface on the internet. According to a new report, the frameless version of the Galaxy S24 will come with a 6.7-inch screen and an Exynos 2400 chipset. It will have a 50-megapixel triple camera on the back and will be available in five color variants. The Galaxy S24 FE is expected to come with a 4,565mAh battery. The battery provides up to 78 hours of music playback on a single charge.
A report from Android Headlines points out the specifications of the Galaxy S24 FE. According to reports, the Fan Edition phone will feature a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1900 nits. It’s an upgrade from the Galaxy S23 FE’s 6.4-inch 120Hz display with a maximum brightness of 1,450 nits. The design is likely to be similar to the Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy S24.
The Galaxy S24 FE is said to be equipped with the Exynos 2400 chipset. This is the same chipset that powers the Indian version of the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+. It is considered more energy efficient than the Exynos 2200 chipset in the Galaxy S23 FE.
Samsung is said to offer the Galaxy S24 FE in five colors: blue, green, black, graphite and yellow. Last year’s Galaxy S23 FE is available in Mint, Graphite and Purple colors in India.
The next Galaxy S24 FE will have an aluminum frame like its predecessor. For protection, the display should be equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. It is said to pack a triple rear camera unit consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide rear camera, and an 8-megapixel 3x optical zoom. For selfies, it will likely have a 10-megapixel front camera.
Samsung is expected to bring several Galaxy AI features to the Galaxy S24 FE, including Portrait Studio, Circle to Search, Generative Edit, Sketch to Image and Live Translate. It may ship with One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14. The smartphone is said to have a 4,565mAh battery, which is slightly larger than the previous generation’s 4,500mAh battery. The battery is reportedly capable of lasting up to 29 hours of video playback and up to 78 hours of music playback.
