Bhiwani, May 12, 2025 — The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rain and wind alert for several districts in Haryana today, Monday, May 12. As per the latest forecast, 6 districts, including Panchkula and Ambala, may experience rainfall, while 8 districts are expected to face strong winds with speeds reaching up to 60 km/h.

This weather warning follows Sunday’s unpredictable conditions, which saw rain, hailstorms, and thunderstorms in many parts of the state.

Temperature Trends and Heat Conditions
Despite the active weather systems, Rohtak continues to top the temperature charts, recording a maximum of 40.4°C on Sunday — the highest in the state.
Haryana saw a 3.9°C drop in maximum temperatures, bringing the overall average closer to normal.
However, Rohtak’s temperature spiked by 3.2°C within 24 hours, indicating localized heating despite cloudy conditions.
