Aurangabad / Mumbai : Maharashtra on Monday reported 806 new Covid-19 patients and four fatalities in a single day, taking the state’s cumulative case tally to 78,59,237 and the toll to 1,43,586, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said. However, with no fresh case of new Omicron variant being spotted in the state today, the count of this cases remain unchanged at 4,509.
On the other hand, 2,696 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 76,97,135. The state’s recovery rate further improved to 97.94 per cent while the fatality rate was unchanged at 1.82 per cent. There are now 14,525 active cases in the state, added the bulletin.
