WhatsApp will soon allow users to reply to status updates with avatars

WhatsApp recently introduced the ability to share HD videos within the app. Now, a new report has surfaced online that says it is working on a new feature owned by the metaplatform.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow users to reply to status updates with avatars. This feature is under testing and available to Android beta testers. Users must install update 2.23.18.9 to access this feature.

WhatsApp currently allows users to reply to status updates with 8 emojis. “However, WhatsApp is planning to add this feature with the option to reply with an avatar.

With the normal reply feature, the user only has 8 emojis to choose from to reply to the status update. A set of 8 avatars is available. This definitely improves the overall experience of responding to status updates,” the report said.

The feature to respond to status updates with avatars is under development and will be available in a future app update.

WhatsApp has introduced an innovative feature that allows users to create groups on the instant messaging app without having to call them immediately.

Currently, if a user chooses to create a group, members must provide a name before they can participate in messaging operations.

This feature is especially useful in situations where users want to quickly create a group. It is important to note that unassigned groups are automatically assigned a name from the group configuration and are limited to a maximum of six members.
