Release of Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max could be delayed

Apple’s iPhone 15 series has caught the attention of many fans, particularly the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The device is highly anticipated as it may feature a new titanium frame, periscope zoom camera, upcoming A17 Bionic chipset and fast charging speed of 150W supported.

However, recent leaks suggest that supply chain issues could delay the release of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which could disappoint some die-hard fans.

9to5Mac reports that the iPhone 15 Pro Max is unlikely to be ready for release on the expected release date. As 9to5Mac reports, this possible delay means that Sony, supplier of smartphone camera components, is struggling to deliver the necessary image sensors on time, which is probably the cause.

However, the issue is not expected to affect Apple’s upcoming events or iPhone 15 series announcements. While the other three models in the iPhone 15 series are expected to launch in time, the iPhone 15 Pro Max could launch.

Earlier it was leaked that the Apple event could take place on September 12th or 13th. A 9to5Mac report later confirmed this, noting that employees at major US telcos were advised not to take time off because of the events. With a big smartphone announcement coming up, the date has changed.

Four iPhone models are expected to be unveiled at the Apple event: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max (which may be renamed iPhone 15 Ultra). Two new Apple Watches will also be unveiled at this event.

In such a scenario, the presale of these devices will start on September 15th. After that, all devices except the iPhone 15 Pro Max could hit the market a week later, on September 22nd. It’s important to note that this data comes from historical patterns observed but not confirmed in Apple publications.

With a possible delay of 3-4 weeks, many are speculating that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will not be available for purchase until late October. This long period can require a waiting time of about a month for potential buyers.

As always, readers are advised to view the above details with a healthy dose of skepticism as this information is not drawn from official sources. The actual situation will only be known after the Apple event.
