Jaipur, November 8 (Udaipur Kiran) — The recent snowfall in the northern hill states of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand has begun to impact Rajasthan, where temperatures have fallen sharply over the past two days — dropping by nearly 10 degrees Celsius in several regions.

On Friday, five cities in the state recorded single-digit minimum temperatures. Nagaur, Jaipur, Ajmer, and Udaipur witnessed their coldest night of the season so far. According to the Jaipur Meteorological Centre, skies across Rajasthan will remain clear and weather conditions dry for the next week.
In the past 24 hours, northern winds had a stronger influence over the districts of Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, and Bharatpur divisions. Nagaur was the coldest, recording a minimum temperature of 6.7°C, while Ajmer reported 8.2°C — its coldest night of the season.
Under the influence of north-westerly winds, skies have cleared across the state, leading to improved air quality and pleasant weather conditions. While mornings remained chilly, bright sunshine through the day caused a slight rise in daytime temperatures.
Maximum temperatures were recorded at 34.1°C in Barmer, 33.3°C in Jaisalmer, 31.8°C in Phalodi, 30.8°C in Bikaner, 30.6°C in Jodhpur, 30.5°C in Pilani, and 30.1°C in Tonk. Most other cities remained below 30°C.
Weather experts predict that night temperatures may dip further in the coming days, intensifying the winter chill across the state.
