Jaipur, February 28 : The impact of Western Disturbance continues to be felt across Rajasthan for the second consecutive day, with cloud cover and temperature drops of up to 5°C recorded in multiple cities. A new circulatory system triggered by the disturbance is active over northwestern Rajasthan, leading to thunderstorms and light rainfall in Bikaner and Jaipur divisions on Thursday.

Yellow Alert Issued for 10 Districts
The Jaipur Meteorological Center has issued a Yellow Alert for 10 districts, warning of thunderstorms, rainfall, and possible hailstorms in:
✅ Bikaner, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur, Alwar, Dausa, and Bharatpur.
These areas may experience light rain accompanied by thunder and wind speeds of 30-40 km/h. Over the past 24 hours, light rainfall was recorded in some regions:
🌧 Ganganagar: 2.2 mm
🌧 Churu: Less than 1 mm
Additionally, cloud cover persisted over multiple districts, including Ganganagar, Bikaner, Sikar, Jaipur, Nagaur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Dausa, Bharatpur, Alwar, Jhunjhunu, Pali, Barmer, and Kota divisions. Parts of western Rajasthan also experienced strong winds on Wednesday evening, while eastern Rajasthan remained dry.
Significant Drop in Day Temperatures
Due to the Western Disturbance, daytime temperatures have dropped across the state. Kota recorded the highest temperature at 34.9°C, while Sirohi recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 12.2°C.
