BADODIA (BANSWARA), June 21, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) : Preparations are underway for the grand Shri Vishnuyagya and Kirti Stambh Pratishtha Mahotsav to be held at Shri Vishwakarma Temple, Badodia, on June 26 and 27. As part of the religious traditions associated with the event, a delegation of community representatives on Saturday offered invitations to the revered deities of the Vagad region.
Representatives of Shri Vishwakarma Seva Sansthan, Badodia, including Ghanshyam Suthar, Jagdish Leelaram Sharma, Dinesh Hiralal Sharma and Vishal Sharma, visited the renowned Shakti Peeths of Nandani Mata Temple at Pawagarh and Varahi Mata Temple. They performed rituals and prayers and offered coconuts and invitation cards for the upcoming festival.
The delegation dedicated the forthcoming Shri Vishnuyagya and the consecration ceremony of the newly constructed Kirti Stambh at the feet of the two revered goddesses. They prayed for the success of the event, prosperity of the region and progress of society, and sought divine blessings for the smooth and uninterrupted conduct of the festival.
Office-bearers of the institution said that according to the ancient Sanatan tradition, major religious events are preceded by offering invitations to the region’s presiding deities and sacred shrines. The invitation visit was organised in keeping with this tradition.
The two-day festival is being organised jointly by the Samast Gujarati Mewada Suthar Samaj, Badodia, and Shri Vishwakarma Seva Sansthan.
According to the organisers, the programme on June 26 will include Hemadri Sankalp, Ganpati Pujan, Mandap Pravesh, Agni Sthapana and the commencement of the Vishnuyagya. A musical Sundarkand recital will be held in the evening.
On June 27, the festival will conclude with the consecration of the Kirti Stambh, Maha Aarti and Mahaprasad.
