Udaipur / Jaipur, August 12 (Kiran News). The Rajsamand team of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested Jasraj, Village Development Officer of Kalesaria Gram Panchayat, and part-time peon Tolaram for accepting a bribe of ₹15,000. The amount was taken from a complainant in exchange for releasing pending instalments of a house sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Additional Director General of ACB, Smita Srivastava, said the complainant reported that the two had demanded a bribe of ₹25,000 for processing the payment. During the trap operation, conducted under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police, Rajsamand, Himmat Charan, Jasraj accepted the bribe through Tolaram Nayak, a part-time peon and private individual. Both accused were caught red-handed while taking ₹15,000 from the complainant.
