Jaipur, August 12 (Kiran News). The Bikaner team of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested Ankush Baghla, Patwari of 2 MJM (B) Ghadsana in Sri Ganganagar district, for accepting a bribe of ₹5,000.

Additional Director General of ACB, Smita Srivastava, said that the complainant had approached the Bikaner unit alleging that Patwari Ankush Baghla had demanded a bribe of ₹15,000 to transfer the title of his grandfather’s land in the name of the complainant’s father.
During verification of the complaint, the accused Patwari reduced the demand to ₹10,000. In the trap operation, he further lowered the amount to ₹5,000 and had the cash kept in the drawer of his office table. Acting under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police, Bikaner, Vinod Kumar, the ACB team caught Ankush Baghla red-handed while accepting the bribe.
