Ayodhya, September 15 (Udaipur Kiran) : The Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has issued a clarification regarding the selection of its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), addressing misinformation circulating in the media. In a statement released by General Secretary Swami Govind Dev Giri, the trust emphasized the need to correct inaccuracies surrounding the selection process.
The trust detailed that a search committee was formed on July 6, 2026, which received a total of 5,585 applications. The evaluation process was conducted through AI screening and manual expertise in three cities: Delhi NCR, Pune, and Sambalpur. Following this, 16 candidates were shortlisted and participated in face-to-face interviews held on August 11 and 12, 2026, in Ayodhya.
Retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra was among those interviewed on August 11, and the search committee submitted its final report and recommendations to the trust on September 1, 2026. On September 2, the trust publicly announced the top three recommended candidates: Jitendra Mishra, Sanjay Pratap Singh Vishwas Rao, and Shruti Bhardwaj.
The trust refuted claims that Jitendra Mishra did not participate in the interview process on August 11-12, asserting that his inclusion among the top candidates serves as documented proof of his participation, evaluation, and merit-based selection. The trust reiterated that the selection process adhered to the highest standards of institutional governance and transparency, with each step documented and all final candidates’ identities recorded in Ayodhya. The trust remains committed to transparency and will continue to provide factual information regarding the selection process for any inquiries.
